This week on Tech Pick of the Week we focus on Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) specifically carabiners. It is always good practice to inspect your gear on the regular. Our tech expert Luke Bryan breaks down a few key elements to look into while inspecting your carabiner cache. Before beginning inspection on your carabiner make sure to note all key components including body style and locking ability. Two important areas to inspect on all carabiners include checking the hook or locking system for nicks or locking issues and the other area is to check the body of your carabiner for any scratches or wear marks that exceed 1mm in depth.
