Trask Bradbury brings a new concept to Rigging Lab Academy for safe and simple rigging. Covering rock, steel and concrete, he brings new understanding to setting anchors, cam placements, knots and hitches, climbing and guide tips, industrial use of twin tensioning systems, track-lines, high-lines, belaying in industrial settings, ascending and descending.
I had know Trask for a number of years prior to this project. Hanging out at SPRAT conferences, I was intrigued by his outlook on rigging. He was anything but typical. Trask, a lifetime climber, had huge experience with working (aka playing!) at height. I asked if would consider bringing his thoughts, insight, knowledge and (yes), even his questions to our studio. He agreed and the result was one of most influential project we had produced at the time and even now.. stands alone as a practical art piece in the world of rigging, rope access, climbing and industrial safety… All rolled into one.
