Our 6th and final look at the amazing Rescue Response Team in action. So who are these folks… Only one of the many were or are employees. Matt Adams, Team Coordinator and Director was the lone RRG employee. Everyone else are unpaid professionals in the field of “saving lives”. These are the heros of our community and industry.

The systems in place here are primarily using a artificial high directional (here the Arizona Vortex) and an AZTEK mechanical advantage systems (5:1). We hadn’t intended (originally) to spend a ton of time on the patient packaging, but as we began to compare notes… how could we not. I mean really!…. 50′ drop with severe head trauma, broke pelvis and internal injuries.

The litter evacuation is a 5th class litter raise. The transition using the Arizona Vortex was beautiful and worked perfectly.

The amazing thing is that he made it home and eventually a full recovery. In case you were curious.
