Deschutes Brewery in Bend, Oregon sits in a beautiful location overlooking the Old Mill District. We have a great relationship with Deschutes and their Brewery Staff. The Brewers and Deschutes staff use rope access gear and techniques to clean, repair and work on the large secondary tanks that sit up above the main brewery house.

This environment creates a unique and amazing venue to practice rope access and work at height techniques. Rich Delaney of Rope Test Lab in the Blue Mountains of Australia was on scene with us breaking down some of the skills, techniques, but more importantly the physics that apply to Skate Blocks, V-Anchors, Gin Pole Set ups and Edge protection.

It was a great day with lots of physics, crazy catwalks, unique rigging and great views of Bend and the surrounding area.
